EA Sports. It’s in the game.
Is it though? With the announcement of EA Sports College Football, the video game franchise that had been beloved for almost 20 years is coming back for the first time since 2013. I’m sure every fan of the NCAA franchise is excited to finally get a college football video game back, they no longer have to use NCAA revamped, although some may still use it, BUT, do not get your hopes up.
This may be a red flag coming up with the video game with a projected release date of “Summer 2024”. This is EA Sports releasing the video game, EA Sports has ruined the last 5-6 Madden NFL games with the same gameplay, no improvements, and the only changes being the number and the roster.
Since Madden 19, microtransactions have been the catalyst and the source of criticism for football video game fans and the main thing that EA even focuses on when it comes to their quality in the game. Franchise mode has been depleted to almost nothing and several features that had been on Madden in years past have been removed.
It's all because EA is simply too lazy to put together a decent product. There has been false advertising on the game giving it rave reviews from video game magazines instead of hearing from users who bought the video game.
EA Sports has been one of the lousiest video game companies since the end of the 2010s and for fans who are expecting the game to be like the old NCAA video games of the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 era.
You’d better lower your expectations and take your consoles off of Ebay, because you’ll be wasting almost $60 paying for the video game, which is likely to be an unfinished product and will be one of the biggest disappointments of the Summer 2024 video game season.
